Meet The Team...
I have been interested in hairdressing my whole life and I started a Saturday job at Madames in 2010 after completing my work experience with them at school.
As soon as I left school in July 2011 I started my apprenticeship at Madames full time and went to Swindon College one day a week. After help and encouragement from all the staff at Madames I completed my apprenticeship in May 2013 and achieved my NVQ level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing.
I really enjoy my job and love every second of the day, creating new hairstyles and trying out new products. All of my clients ask me what my favourite part of hairdressing is and I honestly cannot pick a favourite.
Although I enjoy creating new colours and completely transforming a clients image I also like the ‘plain jane’ look and love to create the much wanted ‘wash and go’ hairstyle.
Madames is a wonderful place to work and I feel part of a team, were like a family that all work together to create beautiful hairdressing.
I am currently training to complete my NVQ level 3 in hairdressing and I’m excited to finish my qualification in the early summer of 2014.
I look forward to what my future brings and what challenges I may have to face. That’s the beauty of working in a salon, you never know who or what is going to walk through the door next.
I had always wanted to be a beauty therapist, it is a very rewarding job.
When I left school at the age of 16 I went straight into beauty therapy and completed the course for 3 years.
I achieved my NVQ level 1, 2 and 3 and a qualification in ear piercing.
Then I started working at Madames. It has a good atmosphere and an experience working with the public.
I like working on clients make-up for proms and weddings; it makes me very happy when clients walk out of the salon with a big smile on their faces looking completely transformed!
I have started working on my apprenticeship in hair dressing, I am really looking forward in doing hair ups, and different hair styles and completing the apprenticeship.
